So proud of you. This is what I was hoping to read from you. I can imagine that the time post surgery has your mind racing. Can’t wait to get you back here so we can have some more talks and tears if need be….sometimes a good cry is just what we all need. The smiles will come too….

This is probably one of the most inspirational things I have ever read. I am doing my ski and snowboard instructor courses this year, and sarah burke is my inspiration to ensure I do it, and do it well. Loved watching the things she did, and will inspire me to be the best I can be on the snow. God sent sarah burke to show us all how to ski, when he realised how good she was he took her back to teach the angels. This was beautiful to read. Thank you.

I appriciate your words and thoughts during a difficult time. It’s funny how we get so serious and uptight about the little things in life, yet we can count our blessing during tragedy! Sarah will be missed, but I look forward to seeing you get back in the saddle and show everyone whom you have an influence over, what living is all about. Great commentary Jen. Life can move at such a fast pace sometimes taking time to relax can be physically and mentally stimulating.

It can vary for each person so if exercising is something you love then go for it. Other people may want to sit at a cafe with a cup of coffee, others may want to spend time with friends or family.

The important thing to remember is that we can control these elements which makes life so great. I’m like you where physical activity is one of my forms of relaxing – I do fall into that trap where I may overtrain but I wouldn’t change anything.

Good luck with the rehab and more power to you.
